In the 2009 AGM of FTF-I, I met Mr Pankaj who worked on fair wage calculation with TARA, a fair trade organization in Delhi.TARA is one of the supplier of IM Sweden. I felt that the guide would prove helpful for our producer organizations. From then, we have been communicating with each other trying to figure out a schedule for his visit. It could not materialize due to his busy schedule and some personal reasons. His visit had to be postponed twice.
I gave his address to the Manager of Clean Upper Dharamsala Paper Project and he's been in touch with him on end.
The Manager wrote to me saying Mr Pankaj will be in Dharamsala tomorrow to carry out fair wage calculation. Mr Pankaj will also visit Lungta which is another partner organization of IM.
Excited!
